I want to know if I have to pay the rest of the months since I only did a 6 month lease. I only did this paper with him and he does not do real estate hes actually a electrician. It does not say anything about me paying on the terms. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

The rest of what months?
If you are renting a property from someone, you are required to make the agreed upon payments on the agreed upon date. If your lease has expired, then you are automatically moved to a ‘month to month’ lease/rental agreement. If you stop paying rent, the landlord can evict you as quickly as the law allows. In the state I live, in as little as 13 days after he serves an eviction notice, it’s possible for him to lock me out of my place.
Whether or not he’s in the real estate business has no bearing on the lease agreement or your duty to pay rent.

That link does not allow us to see the lease.
You would only have to pay any more months rent if you did not complete the lease. If you only signed a 6 month lease and stayed the entire 6 moths then you do not owe anything. If you signed a 12 month lease and only stayed 6 then you can be charged rent through the end of the lease. The lease does not have to state this to be legal. It is allowed by general state law.

Your lease terms are for 6 months. With a clause of a 30 day notice of not renewing. 60 days in texas. You are responsible for the 30 days rent from the time of your notice. After the 6 month expires it will become a month to month even if you have no new lease. Best of luck
